Adamawa Governor Presents N583.3bn Budget for 2026 Fiscal Year

Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri of Adamawa State has presented a N583.3 billion budget proposal for 2026 to the State House of Assembly. The budget aims to drive sustainable economic growth and renewal, with a significant portion allocated to capital projects.

Fintiri highlighted achievements in youth and women empowerment programs, including support for small businesses. The budget reflects current economic realities and prioritizes key sectors like education, healthcare, poverty alleviation, and agriculture.

Additionally, ongoing civil service reforms and the implementation of a minimum wage were emphasized to enhance governance efficiency.
