Kebbi Governor Nasir Idris Commends APC for Peaceful Congresses

Kebbi State Governor Nasir Idris praised stakeholders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) for their role in the peaceful conduct of congresses throughout the state. The congresses, which took place across 225 wards and 21 local government areas, resulted in the election of executive committee members through a consensual and affirming process, in line with the party's constitutional guidelines.

Idris described the exercise as orderly and transparent, noting that the peaceful outcomes reflect the maturity and commitment of party members. He acknowledged minor misunderstandings that occurred during the process as normal in democratic settings, particularly within political parties.

The governor attributed the growing popularity of the APC in Kebbi State to the cohesive leadership of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and urged aggrieved members to prioritize party unity over personal interests. He congratulated the newly elected ward and local government executives and called for fair and just execution of their duties.
