Enugu Governor Mbah Celebrates Rangers' League Victory

Dr. Peter Mbah, the Governor of Enugu State, congratulated Rangers International FC on their remarkable achievement of winning the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) trophy for the 2025-2026 season.

The team secured their ninth league title by defeating Ikorodu City Football Club 2-1 at Onikan Stadium in Lagos. This victory allowed Rangers to finish the season with 68 points, just ahead of Rivers United, who garnered 67 points.

Governor Mbah expressed pride in the team's performance, stating that they have walked the path of legends and restored glory to Enugu State. He acknowledged the hard work and dedication of the players and management, emphasizing that this title is a significant reward for the investments made by his administration in the club.

Additionally, he noted that Enugu is set to host the 27th National Sports Festival in November this year.
