Governor Mbah Inspects Arms Seized from ESN Terrorists

On a recent visit to the Department of State Services (DSS) headquarters, Governor Peter Mbah of Enugu State commended the DSS, Nigerian Army, and other security agencies for their collaboration in recovering a significant cache of arms and ammunition from the Eastern Security Network (ESN) terrorists. The inspection occurred on Tuesday following a raid on an ESN armoury, which was executed based on intelligence gathered by the DSS.

The recovered weapons included a rocket launcher, two RPG rocket-propelled grenade warheads, three RPG chargers, 11 AK-47 rifles, and 610 rounds of NATO 7.62x39 mm ammunition. Governor Mbah emphasized the importance of unity among Nigerians, regardless of political or religious affiliations, in supporting President Bola Tinubu's efforts to tackle insecurity.

He expressed gratitude to President Tinubu for his support in addressing security challenges in the state, highlighting the successful operations of security agencies in Enugu.
