Governor Mbah to Receive League Bloggers’ Legacy Award

Dr. Peter Ndubuisi Mbah, the Governor of Enugu State, is set to receive the League Bloggers’ Legacy Award, marking him as the first-ever recipient of this honor designated for governors.

This award recognizes his leadership, vision, and unwavering commitment to the growth of Rangers International Football Club, which achieved its 9th Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) title under his administration. Mbah's administration has been pivotal in providing critical funding and support for the club, empowering players and officials, and restoring Rangers to prominence in Nigerian football.

His strategic investments have encouraged private sector participation, enhancing the club's commercial activities, including sponsorship deals with companies like Afrinvest West Africa and Nortra Tractor. The award ceremony will take place at Cordi Hotel in Ikeja, Lagos, on Wednesday, July 8, 2026.
