Otti Criticizes Journalist for Questioning Government Impact

During a media chat on Friday, Abia State Governor Alex Otti confronted journalist Chika Nwabueze after he posed a question regarding the provision of data to demonstrate improvements in the lives of Abia residents due to government policies. Otti described the question as "irresponsible" and "stupid," asserting that he would not provide data to measure the impact of his administration's work.

He emphasized that the media chat was not an opportunity for journalists to ask questions that he deemed nonsensical. Otti stated that he was focused on delivering on campaign promises rather than engaging in what he considered frivolous inquiries.

Despite Otti's dismissal, Nwabueze reiterated his question about the government's impact on ordinary people, to which Otti responded that he was not interested in providing such data, urging seriousness in the media chat.
