Abia Governor Otti Clarifies Gunmen Attack on Convoy in Imo State

Abia State Governor Otti has clarified that the recent gunmen attack at Sam Mbakw International Airport in Owerri, Imo State did not target his convoy. The attack occurred at Umuowa-Ihitt junction near the airport and involved an advance team of three members from the Governor's office in Umuahia.

Governor Otti's Chief Press Secretary, Ukoha Njoku, emphasized that no lives were lost in the incident. The statement aimed to dispel reports linking the attack to the Governor's convoy.
