Kano Governor Yusuf to Rejoin APC to Boost Development and Security

Governor Yusuf of Kano State is poised to rejoin the All Progressives Congress (APC) after initially joining the party in 2014 when he won the primary election for the Kano Central Senatorial seat. His spokesperson, Sunusi Batur Dawakin Tofa, confirmed the decision, highlighting the governor's aim to bolster cooperation with the federal government, accelerate infrastructure development, enhance security, and improve service delivery in Kano State.

Governor Yusuf's move follows his political engagements across different platforms, including a recent stint with the NNPP. The governor expressed optimism that returning to the APC would help consolidate political stability and unity in the state.

He is expected to formally register as an APC member alongside other officials during an event in Kano.
