Governor Fubara Calls for Voter Turnout in Rivers Bye-Election

Governor Siminalayi Fubara of Rivers State has made an appeal for a significant voter turnout in the bye-election set for Saturday, aimed at filling two vacant seats in the State House of Assembly. This statement was issued on Friday at the Government House in Port Harcourt, where he urged residents of Ahoada East and Khana Local Government Areas to participate actively in the electoral process.

Fubara described the election as a "family affair" and called for support for the candidates from the Progressive Congress (APC) contesting the vacant positions. He stressed the importance of maintaining peace during the electoral exercise and urged everyone to abide by the law, avoiding any actions that could disrupt the peace.
