Zamfara Governor Reinstates 103 Teachers Removed from Payroll

Governor Lawal of Zamfara State has reinstated 103 teachers who were removed from the state's payroll seven months ago. The decision follows a statewide verification exercise that identified administrative errors leading to their removal.

The teachers will receive arrears from January to July 2025. The State Commission of Education, Science, and Technology emphasized the importance of reinstating committed teachers to avoid undermining the education of children.
