Governors’ forum makes four appointments

The Nigerian Governors Forum (NGF) has announced four key appointments in the areas of human capital management, security, economic policy, and communication. The appointments were made following an organizational transformational review conducted by Deloitte Nigeria to strengthen the NGF Secretariat's operational processes and core mandate as a subnational policy hub and resource center.

The appointments aim to modernize the Secretariat and enhance its responsiveness to policy coordination in line with international best practices. The new leadership framework includes strategic, programmatic, and administrative portfolios, with Abdulateef Shittu appointed as the Director-General to steer the Secretariat through an ambitious phase of institutional reform.

The appointments reflect the NGF's commitment to building a multidisciplinary leadership team capable of driving innovation, stakeholder engagement, and delivering tangible value to its member states.
