Grace Ama, a veteran Nollywood actress, is mourning the death of her father, Chief Ogbonnaya Azu Ama, who passed away just ten minutes after she prayed for him during their final phone conversation. The call took place on Thursday evening, where he made a simple emotional request for prayer, which she immediately fulfilled.

After they concluded their conversation, she received the devastating news at 7:11 PM that her father had died. Grace described the experience as overwhelming grief, noting that her father was her biggest source of encouragement and support.

Chief Ogbonnaya Azu Ama, who held the traditional title of Ezi Okwu Bu Mdu, celebrated his 80th birthday in December of the previous year. Grace emphasized that she will forever treasure their last conversation, which she now recognizes as a final goodbye.
