Nigerian Military Neutralizes 317 Terrorists in One Month

The Coalition for National Security and Democracy (CNSD) praised Chief of Defence Staff General Olufemi Oluyede for the Nigerian military's effective operations, which resulted in the neutralization of 317 terrorists and the rescue of 221 kidnapped civilians within one month. During a press conference in Abuja, CNSD President Samuel Agada highlighted the military's renewed momentum in combating terrorism, kidnapping, and organized crime.

The operations, conducted across various regions including the North East, North West, North Central, South South, and South East, demonstrated improved coordination among armed forces and intelligence agencies. The military also dismantled illegal arms factories and disrupted oil theft syndicates in the Niger Delta, contributing to national economic interests.

Agada emphasized the importance of public support for the armed forces and urged citizens to cooperate with security agencies to enhance national security, acknowledging the sacrifices made by personnel in the field.
