Tinubu's Infrastructure Projects Transform Northern Nigeria

A group has lauded President Bola Ahmed Tinubu's infrastructure initiatives across Northern Nigeria, detailing 260 special intervention projects executed nationwide by the Federal Ministry of Works. These projects, located in the North West zone, include states such as Kano, Kaduna, Katsina, Jigawa, Sokoto, Kebbi, and Zamfara.

The group noted that these projects aim to enhance transportation, agriculture, and trade, thereby accelerating economic growth in the region. Among the inspected projects is the ongoing reconstruction of the Abuja-Kaduna-Kano highway, where a delegation observed extensive concrete pavement work and the installation of solar-powered streetlights.

The project, managed by Infouest International Construction Company, is nearing completion, with work expected to finish by November 2026. Additionally, the Kaduna Western Bypass project has reportedly been stalled for 22 years, with only 50% completion.

The group also highlighted the significance of the Kaduna-Kano-Katsina-Maradi railway project, which links Nigeria to the Niger Republic.
