Tinubu Lauded for Advancing Key Infrastructure Project

Minister of Works and Housing, Dave Umahi, commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for his role in advancing a landmark infrastructure project during a delegation visit to the ECOWAS Bank. The project focuses on developing a strategic road corridor that links Ebonyi and Cross River states, extending to Ndibe Beach and Afikpo, and further connecting to Benue and Kogi states.

Umahi expressed satisfaction with the pace and quality of work, emphasizing the project's importance as a vital transport corridor for business and investment. He also humorously addressed a report about a private aircraft allegedly landing on a section of a concrete federal road under construction in Ogwashi Ukwu, Delta State.

Umahi reiterated the current administration's commitment to delivering durable infrastructure. Mainouna Sidib from the ECOWAS Bank acknowledged the scale of infrastructure development in Nigeria and expressed the bank's readiness to support initiatives that promote regional economic growth across ECOWAS member states.
