Youth Group Urges Benjamin Kalu to Run for Abia Governorship

The South East Youth Progress (SEY4P) has publicly called on Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Benjamin Kalu, to contest for the Abia State governorship in the upcoming 2027 elections. The group, represented by Merci Nwaogu, emphasized the growing interest among the youth in Kalu's leadership capabilities, stating that he has restored confidence in the political process.

They described Kalu as a unifying figure whose leadership has inspired a new wave of political participation among young people in the South East. The group noted that they have received numerous inquiries from youth across Abia State regarding Kalu's potential candidacy.
