Gunmen Kill Former Ogun Broadcaster Mr. Kitan Oyesiku

In the early hours of Sunday, gunmen killed Mr. Kitan Oyesiku, a former broadcaster for Ogun State Television, popularly known as Aunti Kitan, along with a security guard in Agodo Community, Abeokuta, Ogun State.

The circumstances surrounding the killings remain unclear, but an anonymous source indicated that church members discovered the horrific scene when they went to check on Mr. Oyesiku after he failed to attend church.

Upon arrival, they found the security guard dead and later discovered Mr. Oyesiku's body.

The community raised the alarm, and the police were contacted. DSP Oluseyi Babaseyi, a spokesperson for the Ogun State Police Command, confirmed the incident and stated that an official statement would be issued soon.

The tragic death of Mr. Oyesiku has sparked grief among his colleagues and friends in the media circle and the local community.
