Gunmen Kill Man, Abduct Wife in Kebbi State Attack

In the early hours of Friday, gunmen killed 35-year-old Sufiyanu Garba and abducted his wife in the Badariya area of Birnin Kebbi, Kebbi State. The Kebbi State Police Command confirmed the incident through its spokesperson, Bashir Usman.

Following a distress call, police promptly visited the scene and commenced an investigation. The victim was taken to Sir Yahaya Memorial Hospital in Birnin Kebbi, where he was confirmed dead by medical personnel, and his body was deposited in the hospital morgue.

The police have directed the State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID) to ensure a thorough investigation aimed at rescuing the abducted victim and bringing those responsible to justice. The command reassured residents that necessary measures are being taken to strengthen security across the state and urged the public to report emergencies promptly to aid rapid response.
