Gunmen Kill Four, Abduct Six in Kebbi and Sokoto Attacks

In recent attacks in Nigeria, gunmen killed four individuals in the Kebbi State community of Gebb, located in the Shanga Local Government Area, and abducted six people in the Sokoto State village of Gazau. The Kebbi attack occurred in the early morning, with bandits setting homes ablaze and taking advantage of the wetland terrain.

Adamu Hamza, the Vice Chairman of Shanga Local Government Area, confirmed the fatalities. This incident is not the first in the area, as local residents, including district head Alhaji Haruna Usman, have previously fled due to similar attacks.

In Sokoto, the bandits stormed homes in Gazau, abducting six individuals, including 12 women and one man, during a raid at 1:00 AM. The assailants threatened to continue daily attacks unless residents sought amnesty.

Efforts to reach local officials, including Sharehu Abubakar Kamarawa, and the Sokoto State Police Command were unsuccessful.
