Gunmen Kill Two, Abduct Passengers in Kogi Attack

On June 1, 2026, at approximately 2:25 AM, gunmen invaded a community in Kogi, leading to a violent attack that resulted in the deaths of two residents and injuries to several others. Eyewitnesses reported that the sound of gunfire caused panic among the residents, who fled to safety.
