Kaduna Airlifts 1,158 Pilgrims for Hajj 2026

The Kaduna State government successfully airlifted 1,158 pilgrims to Saudi Arabia for the Hajj pilgrimage, as confirmed by the Kaduna State Pilgrims Welfare Agency. The first batch of pilgrims departed on May 14, 2026, with 426 individuals on board.

The second flight took off on May 15, carrying 389 pilgrims, while the third flight departed on May 16, transporting 343 pilgrims. All three flights landed safely in Medina.

The agency has scheduled a fourth flight, which is set to depart from Hassan Usman Katsina International Airport on Sunday afternoon. Additionally, a fifth flight is planned to commence on May 17, 2026, from a transit camp in Mando, Kaduna, at 10:00 AM.

Flyna Airlines is responsible for handling the transportation of pilgrims for this year's Hajj operations, and the agency commended the pilgrims and stakeholders for their cooperation and patience, assuring ongoing efforts to ensure a smooth and successful airlift.
