Dr. Halima Suleiman Zakari's Grassroots Empowerment in Jigawa

Dr. Halima Suleiman Zakari is positioning herself as a key political figure in Jigawa State, aiming to represent the Jigawa Central Senatorial District in the 2027 elections.

Her approach emphasizes grassroots engagement, demonstrating a commitment to understanding and addressing the everyday realities of the people she seeks to serve. Recently, she empowered 150 beneficiaries through a five-day intensive makeup training program, which included practical instruction on modern techniques and client management.

This initiative aims to foster self-reliance and an entrepreneurial mindset among participants. Additionally, Dr.

Zakari donated seven vehicles to APC chairmen across seven local government areas in Jigawa Central, along with 76 motorcycles for ward chairmen, highlighting her commitment to grassroots mobilization. She has also contributed 30 million Naira to her alma mater, the Federal Government College in Kiyawa, for the renovation of a girls' dormitory, significantly improving the learning environment for students.
