Harry and Meghan Accept Royal Stay for UK Family Visit

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, have accepted an invitation from King Charles III to stay at a royal residence during their first family visit to the UK in four years. The couple, along with their children, Archie, aged seven, and Lilibet, aged five, will travel from California for this visit in July.

This decision marks a significant development as they previously declined offers to stay at royal properties since stepping back from royal duties in 2020. The visit coincides with a year countdown to the Invictus Games, a sporting event for wounded veterans founded by Prince Harry, which will be held in Birmingham next year.

While Harry is expected to participate in charity activities, Meghan will join him at the Invictus event, although their children are not expected to make public appearances. The acceptance of King Charles's offer is seen as a potential thaw in relations with the royal family, which have been described as being at "rock bottom.".
