R Jolad Hospital Launches New Dialysis Center in Gbagada

R Jolad Hospital announced the expansion of its specialist services with the launch of a new dialysis center in Gbagada, set to open to the public on April 27. This initiative is part of the hospital's efforts to enhance access to renal care in Nigeria, where chronic kidney disease affects millions and limits access to renal replacement therapy.

The new dialysis unit will enable patients requiring renal care to receive comprehensive treatment within the hospital's network, thereby improving health outcomes. Dr.

Funsho Oladipo, the Managing Director of R Jolad Hospital, emphasized the hospital's commitment to evolving in response to patient needs. The dialysis sessions will be offered at a discounted rate of N35,000 per session to alleviate the financial burden on patients requiring long-term treatment.

R Jolad Hospital, established in 1982, operates a 275-bed multi-specialty system across eight locations in Lagos and Port Harcourt. The hospital is collaborating with Osiri Health, a leading provider of renal care since 1986, to enhance the quality and accessibility of renal services in Nigeria.
