Heirs Energies & WLF Launch Sun Books Initiative to Boost Literacy in Rivers

Heirs Energies Limited and the World Literacy Foundation have joined forces to enhance literacy in Rivers State, marking World Literacy Day 2025. The Sun Books Literacy Initiative aims to eradicate illiteracy by providing 500 pupils from Central State Primary School and Umuebulu Primary School with Sun Books tablets loaded with culturally relevant content.

Additionally, solar panels will be installed to ensure uninterrupted power supply for interactive learning. CEO of Heirs Energies, Osa Igiehon, emphasized the importance of community empowerment through sustainable education investments.

This initiative is set to create a conducive learning environment and promote literacy in the host community of OML 17.
