Iyabo Ojo Explains Ex-Husband's Role at Daughter's Wedding

Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo explained her decision to allow her ex-husband, Ademidun Ojo, to walk their daughter Priscilla down the aisle during her wedding to Tanzanian singer Juma Jux. The wedding took place in Lagos in April 2025 and went viral, as the former couple appeared in matching outfits.

Iyabo and Ademidun were married in 1999 when she was 21, and their marriage produced two children: a son, Festus, and a daughter, Priscilla. They divorced in 2001, just two years after their marriage.

Iyabo attributed the breakdown of their marriage to their young age. Despite Ademidun's long absence from public view, his presence at the wedding raised questions online.

Iyabo stated that she made the decision to include him because she believes a father should be present at such significant events, emphasizing her intention to interrupt generational patterns of separation. Priscilla welcomed her first child, a son named Rakeem Ayomid Mkambala, born in Canada in August 2025.
