Adeleke Reaffirms Support for Tinubu's 2027 Re-election

On Tuesday, during a cabinet meeting in Osogbo, Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke reaffirmed his support for President Bola Tinubu's re-election in 2027. This statement was made public through a release by his spokesperson, Olawal Rashe.

Adeleke noted that despite ongoing crises affecting local governance in Osun State, his stance on supporting Tinubu remains unchanged. He highlighted that his backing for Tinubu dates back to his time with the People's Democratic Party (PDP) and expressed that there is no issue with Tinubu's leadership.

Adeleke emphasized that supporting Tinubu is in the best interest of the South West region and expressed gratitude for the continued support from residents. He also assured that his administration would continue to deliver democratic dividends, with a renewed focus on youth, women, and workers, as well as investments in infrastructure, agriculture, education, and healthcare.

Furthermore, he directed party officials to strengthen grassroots structures and enhance voter registration across the 332 wards in the state.
