Hisbah Arrests 22 Suspected Crossdressers in Kano

Hisbah, under the leadership of Deputy Commander General Dr Mujahid Aminuddeen, arrested 22 suspected crossdressers in Kano. The arrests took place in areas including Zoo Road and Court Road, with the majority of the suspects having entered Kano from other states.

The group comprised 10 women and 12 men, who admitted to participating in hook-up activities and drug abuse. Dr Aminuddeen stated that investigations are ongoing, and those found guilty of immoral acts would face legal repercussions.

He emphasized that Hisbah would not tolerate such behaviors in Kano and would intensify efforts to crack down on these practices.
