Hisbah Launches 'Operation Kano First' Against Immorality

The Hisbah Board in Kano has initiated 'Operation Kano First' to address immorality in the state, as announced by Deputy Commander-General Mujahid Aminuddeen. This operation follows the donation of 10 operational vehicles and 50 motorcycles by Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf, aimed at enhancing Hisbah's enforcement capabilities.

Aminuddeen warned that individuals engaging in immoral acts would be arrested and prosecuted. Hisbah officials commenced patrols on major roads in Kano to encourage moral behavior and facilitate reconciliation among citizens.

The Hisbah Board, established by the Kano State Government, is responsible for enforcing Sharia-related laws, promoting moral conduct, and mediating disputes. The recent donation is expected to significantly improve Hisbah's mobility and presence across local government areas, enabling better monitoring of public spaces and more effective responses to complaints.
