Hisbah Arrests Fish Seller and Two Women for Immorality

The Kano State Hisbah Board arrested three individuals, including a 35-year-old fish seller named Ali Abubakar and two women, Khadija Ahmad, 30, and Fatima Abubakar, 28, for allegedly attempting to engage in immoral acts. The arrests occurred during a raid at a residence located along Daura Road, known as Bandirawo House, under the leadership of Hafizu Garba Adakawa.

During interrogation, Khadija Ahmad claimed that she rented the room to accommodate children and denied involvement in immoral activities, stating it was her first time engaging in such acts. She also mentioned that the owner of the house had traveled to Egypt and promised not to repeat the act.

The suspects were subsequently arraigned in court presided over by Malam Sani Tanimu Hausawa. The Kano State Hisbah Board reiterated its commitment to combating immoral activities across the state.
