Honda Donates N41.5m HR-V to Maltina Teacher of the Year

Honda Automobile Western Africa Ltd donated a brand new Honda HR-V valued at N41.5 million to the 2026 Maltina Teacher of the Year Award. This donation marks the first time in the competition's 12-year history that the overall winner will drive home a vehicle.

The grand final is scheduled for October. In addition to the vehicle, the winner will benefit from five years of free scheduled servicing and a five-year manufacturer's warranty, significantly reducing ownership costs.

Daisuk Mita, Managing Director of Honda Automobile Western Africa Ltd, emphasized the importance of teachers in shaping the future of the nation and expressed honor in supporting the Maltina Teacher of the Year Award, which celebrates excellence in education. The Honda HR-V was selected for its combination of comfort, advanced safety features, fuel efficiency, and practical SUV design, catering to everyday mobility needs.
