Hope Channel and Babcock University Partner for Health Outreach

Hope Channel International and Babcock University have formed a partnership to expand global health outreach and evangelism efforts, with a goal of reaching one billion people by 2030. This initiative was discussed during a visit by a delegation from Hope Channel International, which included Vice Chancellor Prof.

Afolarin Ojewol and Senior Vice President Academics Prof. Jonathan Nwosu.

The partnership aims to leverage emerging technologies to effectively reach underserved and restricted audiences in Nigeria, which has a large population. Dr.

Ezekiel Adeley, Pro Chancellor of Babcock University, emphasized the importance of collaboration in advancing the church's evangelistic and health education efforts. The initiative will culminate in a mega media evangelism program scheduled from April 26 to May 9, 2026, at the University of Lagos Indoor Sports Complex, expected to be one of the largest outreach efforts in recent times.

Key speakers will include Elder Paul Douglas, Treasurer of the General Conference of the Seventh-day Adventist Church, and British physician Dr. Chidi Ngwaba, known for his work in lifestyle medicine.
