Nigerian House of Reps Proposes New LGAs in Benue State for Better Governance

The Nigerian House of Representatives is advancing a bill, sponsored by Rep. David Ogewu, to create more local government areas in Benue State.

The aim is to strengthen grassroots governance and improve service delivery to the growing population in the state. This move follows a similar attempt by former Governor George Akume in 2007.
