Tinubu Discusses UK Support During Abacha's Regime

Tinubu made these remarks at a royal banquet attended by King Charles III, Queen Camilla, Prince William, and Catherine, Princess of Wales, as part of a diplomatic visit aimed at strengthening ties between Nigeria and the United Kingdom. He emphasized the long-standing relationship between the two countries, sharing democratic values and legal traditions, and praised the contributions of Nigerians living in the UK, particularly in the National Health Service and sports sectors, which continue to enhance bilateral relations and Nigeria's global standing.
