Israel DMW Defends Davido Against Accusations in Mohbad Case

Israel DMW, the logistics manager for Nigerian singer Davido, responded to allegations made by critic VeryDarkMan (VDM) regarding Davido's involvement in the issues surrounding Naira Marley and the late Mohbad. VDM claimed that his fallout with Davido and others stemmed from their differing stances during the campaign for justice for Mohbad.

He alleged that a WhatsApp group conversation from 2025 indicated some of Davido's associates were involved in his arrest in 2024. In his Instagram post, Israel DMW clarified that Davido had no role in Naira Marley’s challenges and was not part of any conspiracy against VDM.

He dismissed claims that Davido sought Mohbad’s catalogue or attempted to sign Zino, stating those claims were false. Israel also noted that Davido resisted pressure to unfollow Naira Marley on Instagram, affirming their amicable relationship and that no violence occurred during a dispute involving Naira's associates.
