Tinubu to Commission Projects and Attend APC Rally in Rivers
President Bola Tinubu will embark on a two-day visit to Akwa Ibom and Rivers States as part of his official and political activities leading up to the 2027 general elections. He is scheduled to arrive in Uyo, the capital of Akwa Ibom State, on Friday, November 6, to commission various projects completed by Governor Umo Eno’s administration.
Key projects include the new International Terminal Building at Victor Attah International Airport, the International Airport Hospital, and the Ibom Aviation Village, among others. Governor Eno has declared Friday a work-free day to facilitate a warm reception for the President.
Following his engagements in Akwa Ibom, Tinubu will travel to Port Harcourt, Rivers State, on Saturday to attend an APC rally, marking his third rally since launching his re-election campaign in Kaduna the previous month. The visit will also allow the President to meet with political stakeholders, party members, and supporters.
