Gbajabiamila Urges ADC to Resist External Influences

Femi Gbajabiamila, the Chief of Staff to the President, recently addressed the ongoing crisis within the African Democratic Congress (ADC) during a meeting with Leke Abejid, a member representing Yagba Federal Constituency in Kogi State. The meeting took place in Abuja, coinciding with the anniversary of Abejid's tenure.

Gbajabiamila advised Abejid to ignore calls from former Kogi State Governor Yahaya Bello to defect to the All Progressives Congress (APC). He emphasized the importance of unity within the ADC and urged Abejid to align with the party's current leadership under Nafiu Bala and David Mark.

Gbajabiamila expressed his commitment to the ADC, stating that the party should not allow external influences to disrupt its progress. He also dismissed allegations that the ADC was in crisis, asserting that the party must focus on winning elections and maintaining its integrity.
