Igboho Critiques Sowore's Political Actions and Protests

Sunday Igboho, a prominent Yoruba nation agitator, publicly criticized Omoyele Sowore, a former presidential candidate, questioning how many protests Sowore had staged for him. This statement was issued on Tuesday through his media aide, Olayomi Koiki.

Igboho dismissed allegations that he was politically motivated, asserting that his primary interest lies in advancing the welfare of the Yoruba people and fostering Nigeria's overall development. He condemned Sowore's political activities, labeling them as "amala politics," and emphasized the need for improved security in the South West region.

Igboho reiterated his commitment to tackling persistent violence, including farmer killings and kidnappings along highways. He also expressed support for President Bola Tinubu's prospects for a second-term bid in the 2027 elections, highlighting the importance of addressing insecurity across Yorubaland.
