NANS Opens Applications for 2026 Business Grant

The National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) has opened applications for the 2026 edition of its entrepreneurship programme, NANSInnovate, which aims to provide student entrepreneurs with an opportunity to compete for funding to expand their businesses. Akinteye Babatunde, the NANS National President, announced the application opening in a statement on Monday, encouraging Nigerian students with business ideas or existing ventures to participate.

The initiative seeks to identify and support students running businesses across universities, polytechnics, and colleges of education in Nigeria. The programme will culminate in a national pitch competition for the top 20 finalists, who will compete for cash prizes worth millions of naira.

Eligible applicants must be Nigerian citizens currently enrolled in a recognized institution and must submit a business proposal along with a valid student ID. The application process requires students to visit the NANSInnovate application portal at grants.nanshq.org and upload their proposals and identification.
