Tantita Security's Role in Nigeria's Oil Stability

Tantita Security Services Nigeria Ltd has been instrumental in maintaining peace in the Niger Delta region and protecting Nigeria's oil assets through its pipeline surveillance operations. Following the appointment of High Chief Dr. Govern Oweizid Ekpemupolo, also known as Tompolo, by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Tantita has enhanced its security operations. Recent data from the Nigerian Upstream Petroleum Regulatory Commission (NUPRC) indicates that Nigeria's crude oil production has reached an average of 1.53 million barrels per day in May 2026, exceeding its OPEC quota.

This marks a significant recovery in the oil sector, with total hydrocarbon output averaging 1.7 million barrels per day. The operations of Tantita have been crucial in ensuring uninterrupted flow of petroleum resources, contributing to Nigeria's economic stability amid fluctuating oil prices.
