Tantita's Surveillance Boosts Niger Delta Stability

Tantita Security Services Nigeria Ltd (TSSNL) has played a crucial role in enhancing peace and stability in the Niger Delta through its pipeline surveillance operations. A report indicates that, despite escalating insecurity in various parts of Nigeria, tensions in the Niger Delta have decreased due to TSSNL's efforts.

The operations have led to a 20.9% decline in violent incidents in the South-South geopolitical region from 2023 to 2025, with a corresponding 8.3% reduction in fatalities. In contrast, other regions such as the North-West and North-East have experienced significant increases in violent incidents and fatalities during the same period.

The report highlights a total of 4,701 incidents recorded in the North-Central region, with fatalities rising to 6,616 over three years. Overall, the national fatality figures increased from 8,847 in 2023 to 12,858 in 2025, underscoring the contrasting security dynamics across Nigeria.
