Showunmi Urges Support for Tinubu Ahead of Election

Otunba Segun Showunmi, a member of the Media and Strategic Communication Directorate of the All Progressives Congress Presidential Campaign Council (APC-PCC), called on Nigerians to support President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in renewing his mandate during the January 16 presidential election. Showunmi, who is also the convener of The Alternative and an Ogun State chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), expressed confidence in Tinubu's ability to sustain economic reforms and national stability.

He stated that Nigeria is on the brink of transformation and that the upcoming election is an opportunity for citizens to reaffirm their commitment to the nation's future. During a meeting with senior editors in Abuja, he emphasized the need for unity and warned against distractions from the opposition.

Showunmi highlighted the importance of consolidating gains made under Tinubu's administration and addressing structural economic challenges to ensure shared prosperity for all Nigerians.
