Peter Obi Declares Intent to Run for President in 2027, Clarifies VP Position

Former presidential candidate Peter Obi, of the Labour Party, announced his intention to run for president in 2027 during a speech on Sunday night. He emphasized that he is not aiming to become a vice president due to his experience.

Obi, a member of the Africa Democratic Congress (ADC) coalition, confirmed that he will work together with the coalition without the need to formally join the ADC. He also expressed his respect for former vice president Atiku Abubakar.
