Davido Emphasizes Nigerian Roots in Global Success

In a recent Twitch stream, Davido articulated that his respect abroad is largely due to his status as a prominent figure in Nigeria, referring to himself as a "King." He shared an anecdote about Jamaican Reggae artist YG Marley, who was impressed by Davido's popularity during a visit to Nigeria. Davido also addressed the challenges faced by content creator Efe, who could not attend a workshop in the United States due to visa issues linked to President Trump's immigration policies.

Additionally, Davido announced his intention to return to his Afrobeats roots, crafting songs inspired by African indigenous music. His latest album, released on July 31, features 13 tracks and marks a departure from his previous five albums, which each contained 17 songs.

This new album signifies a new era for Davido, who has had a successful 15-year career in the music industry. He is also planning a world tour following the album's release, similar to his previous 5IVE tour.
