Adekunle Gold Responds to False Death Reports About Daughter

Nigerian singer Adekunle Gold publicly addressed false claims regarding the death of his daughter, Adejare Kosoko, during an appearance on the One 54 Podcast. He expressed his willingness to handle criticism about himself but drew the line when it involved his daughter.

Following the dissemination of the fake news, Adekunle Gold reported the matter to the authorities rather than resorting to violence. The case was taken to court, resulting in the individual being sentenced to two years in prison or an option to pay a fine.

Adekunle Gold stated, “I can take anything. Talking about me all day, I’m cool.

I signed up for this, not my daughter.” He emphasized the need for regulation of social media due to the prevalence of misinformation, noting that it can lead to confusion even for those being discussed.
