‘I Cannot Walk Away’ – Ex-SGF Mustapha Opens Up On ‘Talks With ADC’

Former Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF) Mustapha has addressed reports of talks with the African Democratic Congress (ADC), dismissing them as fake news. Mustapha clarified that while he engaged in discussions with members of the opposition coalition partner, he remains committed to the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).

He emphasized his role as a founding father of the APC, having been part of the merger that birthed the party. Mustapha acknowledged the challenges within the APC but expressed his determination to work within the organization to find solutions rather than defecting to another platform.

He stated, "I cannot walk away" from the party he helped create, underscoring his loyalty and commitment to the APC.
