Tessa Catches Father-in-Law Richard with Mistress

Tessa, who married Daniel about a year ago, unexpectedly encounters her father-in-law, Richard, in a café, where he is seen kissing Elizabeth, the wife of her boss, Charles. Tessa, who had been running errands for her work as a wedding gown designer, feels a mix of embarrassment and panic upon witnessing the affair.

Richard, upon noticing Tessa, confronts her aggressively, warning her not to disclose what she has seen, threatening to ruin her life if she does. Tessa describes Richard as intimidating, and his grip on her arm is tight enough to cause pain.

This shocking revelation disrupts the previously happy family dynamics that Tessa believed had settled down after her marriage to Daniel, who comes from a wealthy family that initially had reservations about her.
