Dogara Expects Nigerians to Share Tinubu's Impact

Yakubu Dogara, the former Speaker of the House of Representatives, stated that he anticipates Nigerians will articulate how President Bola Tinubu's reforms have positively influenced their lives. His remarks were made during an interview on Friday, highlighting the significance of the 2026 national convention of the All Progressives Congress (APC).

Dogara emphasized that the convention should serve as a platform for the party to introspect and report on its achievements and shortcomings. He noted the importance of addressing internal disagreements within the party and described the resolution of family matters as essential for maintaining cohesion.

Dogara pointed out that the Tinubu administration has made interventions in education, infrastructure, and enterprise funding, expressing optimism about support for youth and women-led businesses. He also clarified that Nyesom Wike, the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, is not a member of the APC, dismissing any allegations regarding party interference in rival affairs.
