Ikeduru LGA Chairman Reports Year of Achievements

The chairman of Ikeduru Local Government Area (LGA) reported significant achievements within one year of office, emphasizing the importance of community engagement in local governance. He expressed gratitude to Governor Hope Uzodinma for support in organizing a retreat for local government executives and staff.

The chairman outlined various community needs, including solar power, boreholes, road repairs, and renovations of schools and health centers. He noted that projects would be executed within available funds and highlighted the completion of a clean-up initiative in the council compound.

Additionally, he mentioned the construction of a modern motor park through a public-private partnership and the rehabilitation of roads affected by erosion. The chairman also discussed agricultural empowerment initiatives, including the distribution of palm seedlings.
