Kenneth Okonkwo Dismisses Peter Obi's Political Relevance

Kenneth Okonkwo, a chieftain of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), expressed his views on Peter Obi's recent political maneuvers during an interview on Arise Television. Okonkwo stated that he has not taken Obi seriously or considered him relevant, particularly in light of Obi's switch from the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) to the ADC.

He criticized Obi for changing political parties three times within the last six months and emphasized that such actions do not restrict the electoral act. Okonkwo maintained that Obi's defection will not affect the ADC's chances of success in the upcoming 2027 presidential election, asserting confidence in the party's viability despite Obi's political transitions.
